Lady in the Future World
Acrylic Paint and Newspaper
45 x 30cm
I had a lot of fun creating my cubism painting. I enjoyed thinking of different and unique patterns to use. For the background, I used rather bright colors, divided by black or dark blue lines. I cut out triangular pieces of newspaper to add more diversity and creativity. I also used bright colors on the face. I divided it into different planes on a face. To not make too colorful, I used gray, black and white for the hair and the cubist shirt.

Pop art-oil pastels on paper- 18 inches by 24 inches 2012
This is my pop art piece, I took a picture of someone, and printed it out four times. I then used complementary colors on each picture, but made sure all of them were complementary as a whole. It was an interesting project and it was fun to play with the colors and the shading.

African Art

"Harmonious at the horizon"
"12inches by 18 inches"
African Art 2012

I used pastels to create this piece of art. Whenever I think of Africa, a lioness tends to come to mind!. I drew a lioness, with her two children, walking slowly. A lioness symbolizes letting go of stress, courage, and power of the female sun. Usually when the sun is setting, it is peaceful.

My Mandala

My Mandala 2012 Paint and Pencil colors, 44.5cm by 44.5cm
I used bright colors to represent summer, my favorite season. The small yellow circles around the Italian flag represents the sun. I added in some flowers and some waves. My mandala is generally simple and organised which relates to my personality.
